Vintage Wedgwood Wild Strawberry – Trinket Box, Tray, Shell Dish, Leaf Dish, Sold Separately or as Set, Bone China, England 1980s
Sold · archived in our galleryWedgwood's iconic Wild Strawberry pattern across four small decorative pieces — each available individually or together as a coordinated set. Choose the trinket box on its own, pair the dishes, or take all four. Across every piece: a delicate spray of pink-and-white wild strawberry flowers, bright red strawberry fruit, soft green three-lobed leaves, and ochre-brown autumn foliage, transfer-printed then hand-tinted on a clean white bone-china ground, with a thin 22K gilt rim.
Choose from the four Wild Strawberry pieces (purchase options): - Round lidded trinket box with small ball finial — for rings, earrings, or small mementoes (~$42) - Rectangular tray (~5.5" / 14 cm) — for a dressing table, perfume bottles, or a coffee-table tableau (~$32) - Shell-form scalloped dish — fluted like a clam shell, gilt rim (~$32) - Leaf-form dish — gently curving leaf shape with a gilt stem handle (~$32) - All four as a coordinated set — bundled at ~$118 (vs. ~$138 individually)
Wedgwood launched Wild Strawberry in 1965 in fine bone china, and it became the pattern Wedgwood is best known for after Jasperware — the line that defined English cottagecore bone china for the late twentieth century, alongside Royal Albert's Old Country Roses and Aynsley's Cottage Garden. The small decorative pieces are the most collectable end of the line: trinket boxes, trays, and shaped dishes that turn a dressing table into a vignette. Each piece carries the green Wedgwood Wild Strawberry mark on the base with "Bone China, Made in England".
A piece — or a set — for the Wedgwood Wild Strawberry collector, for the cottagecore or grandmillennial interior, or as a wedding / bridal-shower / Mother's Day gift. Mix and match to your tableau.
