Vintage Wedgwood Wild Strawberry – Urn Vase, Cache Pot, or Chamberstick, Hand-Tinted Cottagecore Floral, Bone China, England 1980s
Three small decorative pieces in Wedgwood's iconic Wild Strawberry pattern, each sold individually — choose one. Across every piece: a delicate spray of pink-and-white wild strawberry flowers, bright red strawberry fruit, soft green three-lobed leaves, and ochre-brown autumn foliage, transfer-printed then hand-tinted on a clean white bone-china ground, with a thin 22K gilt rim.
Choose one Wild Strawberry accent piece (purchase options): - Small campana urn vase with twin handles and fluted footed base — for a stem of garden flowers, a posy of dried strawberry foliage, or as a small mantel sculpture (~$45) - Cache pot / planter — a clean tapered cylinder, gold-rimmed, for a small potted plant, a desk vase, or a pencil cup on a console (~$55) - Chamberstick candle holder — a low round dish with central candle cup, gilt rims, for a small dinner-table candle or a dressing-room nightlight (~$38)
Wedgwood launched Wild Strawberry in 1965 in fine bone china, and it became the pattern Wedgwood is best known for after Jasperware — the line that defined English cottagecore bone china for the late twentieth century, alongside Royal Albert's Old Country Roses and Aynsley's Cottage Garden. The small accent pieces — vases, planters, candleholders — are the architectural pieces of the line: they don't sit in a cabinet, they live out on mantels, bookshelves, and coffee tables. Each piece carries the green Wedgwood Portland-vase mark on the base with "WILD STRAWBERRY / Bone China / Made in England".
These three accent pieces are the natural companions to the four-piece Wild Strawberry vanity set already in the shop — the urn, planter, and candleholder for the rest of the room. Sold individually here so you can pick the one that fits the spot you have in mind.
A piece for the Wedgwood Wild Strawberry collector, for the cottagecore or grandmillennial interior, or as a wedding / bridal-shower / Mother's Day gift.
